In my opinion, some of the success and entrepreneurial tips suggested by Steve Jobs and Lisa Druxman are similar, for example, both of them suggest that a successful entrepreneur must be visionary and have a clear goal to pursue. They also suggest that a successful entrepreneur must work smart. However, some of their success and entrepreneurial tips differ, for instance, Steve Jobs suggests that a successful entrepreneur must be highly innovative and be able to create new products with distinguished and inimitable features and attributes whereas Lisa Druxman does not have a similar suggestion. Similarly, Lisa Druxman suggests that spousal support is vital for success whereas Steve Jobs does not mention spousal support as a determinant or source of success for entrepreneurs. The most common themes among the two entrepreneurs include self-determination, visionary, and the need for delegation of duties among workers. Steve Jobs and Lisa Druxman argue that successful people must have a clear vision and well-set goals and objectives or targets to achieve.

I have successfully used some of the tips discussed by Steve Jobs and Lisa Druxman in my life. For example, I have used the visionary tip to set my academic and career goals. Moreover, I have used determination and working smart to be able to achieve the set goals. In my view, I would affirm that using success tips from the two entrepreneurs have enabled me to become more successful in life. The tips have enabled me to achieve various things such as getting good grades at college and successfully running a family business.

In my opinion, stereotypes at the workplace are not useful because they usually lead to discrimination and maltreatment of workers in the organization. Stereotypes at the workplace do not permit people to reflect their true abilities, attributes, and qualities. This is because people with predetermined stereotypes often tend to act or behave in a manner that conforms to the preconceived ideas or ways in which people expect from them based on stereotypes. Thus, an individual would not be able to act based on intrinsic feelings, beliefs or values but rather act based on the expectations of other people. Most stereotypes are usually negative thus leads to unfair expectations and development of negative opinions about other people. Similarly, stereotypes usually deny workers opportunities at the workplace, for example, women may not be employed as senior managers because people stereotype that men are better managers and more authoritative than women. Similarly, old people may not be hired by an organization because it is stereotyped that the level of production of old people is lower than that of middle-aged and younger workers. In my view, this denies the organization valuable human capital such as high expertise possessed by women or long-term experience possessed by old workers. For my part, stereotypes at the workplace should be replaced with clear, logical and convincing thoughts or ideas. This is because stereotypes limit the ability of an organization to utilize fully the skills of workers. Stereotypes may also destroy interpersonal relationships among workers.
