Introduction

Whenever a patient goes to the hospital or healthcare facility, the first thing that happens is the taking of patient history. The medical officer, clinical officer or a nurse receives the patient. This is followed by physical examination, prescription of drugs and any other form of treatment. In case of a very serious situation, the patient is admitted. Otherwise, the patient is treated and discharged. In this particular incident, the patient arrived at the Emergency Room (ER) with vision problems and as a nurse, I attended to her.

1. If you were the Vice President for Treasury at ZAPA, What Benchmarks would you Use to Measure Stephanie’s Hedging Effectiveness?

In order to measure Stephanie’s hedging effectiveness, I would prefer to use a cost as a benchmark. My decision is based on several issues:

As the CEO, I would lead a marketing research in the targeted markets and brief the co-workers about the planed future expansion with full view on the company’s culture, which is the company’s strength. Therefore, the CEO should have a strategic plan and inform the employees about the vision of the Company in relation to the changing trends and maintain IKEA’s culture.
