Dear Sister,

I am writing to inform you about my condition, which has been largely affected by drug consumption. Currently, I am having persistent heart complications coupled with breathing difficulties. I am also having problems with my sight. I regret everything that is happening to me. That is why I am writing to warn you to be careful with your life and stay away from drugs.

Smoking marijuana leads to laughter and talkativeness, loss of concentration and poor problem-solving ability. In addition, it causes slower reaction and changes in blood pressure and pulse rate. As to cocaine, its short term effects are blood vessels constriction, dilated pupils, and high pulse rate and body temperature.

The long term effects of marijuana use include chronic cough or chronic bronchitis. It also increases the risk of lung cancer as well as mouth, throat or tongue cancer. Marijuana also reduces the level of fertility in both men and women. There is also the risk of low birth weight babies or babies with defects. Long term cocaine effects are heart diseases, heart attacks, respiratory failure, strokes, and gastrointestinal problems. It may also lead to addiction, paranoia, irritability, mood disturbances and restlessness.

Marijuana has a number of effects on the mental condition of the user. It may lead to memory impairment and learning problems. It also leads to difficulties in thinking and problem-solving. It also leads to deteriorated judgment. On the other hand, cocaine consumption may stimulate the re-occurrence of previous mental health complications. In addition, cocaine use may increase the risk of developing mental disorders.

It is my wish that you stay away from these drugs because they are harmful and have devastating effects on the overall health of an individual. Kindly keep in mind my advice and abstain from these drugs.

Your brother
